Why Visit Bjørn?

I am Bjørn. I bought this house in this beautiful town in 2016. This little red house was built in 1862, and tripled its size in 1985. The original old part is kept, and we have a livingroom with a balcony and stairs to the garden. Visit Bjørn is both old and modern, and I present local old traditions, food, histories and music with a innovative touch.
I grew up on on a small farm on the island Hitra, and I learned how to cook and make great traditional food from local ingredients. Harvested from the blue sea and the fertile soil, thanks to my ancestors. I have traveled the world with my guitar and I also do some Meditteranean cooking, and mix this with the Norwegian dishes. Spicy Bacalao is my speciality.
Since 2018 I have been serving guests with dinner and music. Small groups in my kitchen and larger groups in my livingroom. Once or twice a month we have concerts in the livingroom and tapas in the kitchen.
